Volume of a gas is doubled by raising its temperature at constant pressure . Initial temperature of the gas was `13^@C`. Find the final temperature.

As the pressure is constant Charle.s law we have `V_1/T_1=V_2/T_2`
Here `V_1=xcm^3` (suppose) `T_1=273+13=286 K ` and `V_2=2 x cm^3`.
`thereforex/286=(2x)/T_2or,T_2=572K=(527-273)^@C=299^@C`
