Given `p_1=1.7 times 10^6 Pa`
and `T_1=273+15=288K`
Explosion may occur at a pressure `p_2=7 times 10^6 Pa`
As volume is constant in the cylinder. From pressure law,
`p_1/T_1=p_2/T_2or,T_2=(p_2T_1)/p_1`
`thereforeT_2=(7times10^6 times 288)/(1.7 times 10^6)=1185.9K`
`=(1185.9-273)^@C=927^@C`
