When a balloon is inflated both its volume and its pressure increase. Is there any violation of Boyle's law?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to Boyle.s law the volume of a gas varies inversely with pressure at constant temperature only if the mass of the gas is fixed. During inflation of a balloon. The mass of a gas is increasing. So there is no variation of Boyle.s law.
