A container filled with oxygen is taken to the moon's surface from the earth. How will the volume and pressure of the gas change when the container is
a steel cylinder.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Volume of the gas in the steel cylinder would remain unchanged. There will be no effect of zero atmospheric pressure.
But the pressure of the gas would change due to a different temperature of the surroundings.
