Specific gravitives of two liquids are 0...

Specific gravitives of two liquids are 0.7 and 0.4 respectively. 4 L of the first liquid has the same thermal capacity as 3 L of the second. Find the ratio of their specific heat capacities.

Let `m_(1) and m_(2)` be the masses of the two liquids and `s_(1) and s_(2)` be their specific heats respectively.
Now, `m_(1)=0.7xx4xx1000g and m_(2)=0.4xx3xx1000g`
By the problem `m_(1)s_(1)=m_(2)s_(2)`
`"or, "(s_(1))/(s_(2))=(m_(2))/(m_(1))=(0.4xx3xx1000)/(0.7xx4xx1000)`
`"or, "s_(1):s_(2)=3:7`
