Write down the equation of a simple harm...

Write down the equation of a simple harmonic motion whose amplitude is 5 cm, epoch is `0^(@)` and the number of vibrations per minute is 150.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to the problem,
amplitude, A = 0.05m, epoch, `alpha=0^(@)`, frequency
n = `150/60=5/2Hz`
`therefore" "omega=2pin=2pi*5/2=5pi"rad"*s^(-1)`
So, the equation of the simple harmonic motion is
`x=Asin(omegat+alpha)or,x=0.05sin5pitm`.
