Mass of one atom of an element is `6.645xx10^(-23)g`. How many moles of element are there in `0.320 kg`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given : Mass of one atom `=6.645xx10^023 g`
`therefore` Mass of 1 mole of atom `=6.64xx10^-23 g xx6.022xx10^23`
`=40g`.
`therefore` number of moles of element in `0.320` kg .
`=(1 "mole")/(40g)xx0.320kg`
`=(1 "mol"xx320g)/(40g)`
= 8 mol.
