What is condition for molar Volume ?...

What is condition for molar Volume ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The molar volume of any ideal gas at 273 degree kelvin and 1atm pressure is equal to 22.4 L (or) 22400ml.
Ideal gas equation is PV is equal to n RT.
Where P is pressure at 1 atom. And temperature 273 degree kelvin is called Standard Temperature and Pressure.
R is the gas constant and is equal to `0.082 "dtm"^(3)`. atm. `k^(-1). "mol"^(-1)`.
Hence V is equal to n RT/P.
V is equal to 22.4L.
