What are the physiological effects of plants facing drought condition?

(7) Loss of water leads of increase in the acitivity of hydrolytic enzymes, followed by destruction of RNA and disruption of protein.
(8) Wilting in mature leaves is associated with carbohydrate due to mobilization export, followed by leaf senescence.
