Carboxylic acids are more acidic than phenols. Give reason.

The conjugate bse of carboxylic acid is carboxylate ion. The conjugate base of phenol is phenoxide ion. Reasonance stabilisation is more in carboxylate ion than phenoxide ion. Hence carboxylic acids are more acidic than phenols.
