(a) Complexes having the same molecular formula but the ligands are interchanged between the cationic and anionic entities of different metal ions are called co-ordination isomers and the phenomenon is called co-ordination isomerism.
E.g., `[Cr(NH_(3))_(6)] [CO(CN)_(6)]` and `[Cr(CN)_(6)][CO(NH_(3))_(6)]`
