Plasma has about 70 types of proteins which include Serum albumins, Serum goblins, Fibrinogen, Prothrombin, Lysozyme and properdin.
Functions :
1. Protrombin and fibrinogen are involved in blood clotting .
2. Acts as a protein reserve and can enter incase of protein shortage.
3. Immunoglobulins and Iysozyme are extensive in function.
4. Maintain the viscosity of blood.
