Normal cells show a property called conatct inhibtion by virtue of which contact with other cells inhibt their uncontrolled growth . Cancer cels appears to have lost this property . As a result of this , cancerous cells just continue to divide giving rise to masse of cells called tumours .
Tumours are of two types (a) Benign (b) Malignate tumours
