(a) Explant: Any part of a plant taken out and grown in a test tube under sterile conditions in a special nutrient media to rise new plants is known as explant.
(b) Totipotency: The capacity of a cell tissue to generate an entire whole plant is known as Totipotency.
(c) Somatic Hybrids: The plants which are produced by the process of somatic hybridisation are known as somatic hybrids.
