Focal length of convex mirror, `f=+15 cm`.
Object distance, `u=-10 cm`
According to the mirror formula,
`rArr (1)/(v)=(1)/(f)-(1)/(u)`
`rArr (1)/(v)=(1)/(f)-(1)/(u)`
`rArr (1)/(v)=(2+3)/(30)`
`rArr (1)/(v)=(5)/(30)`
`rArr = 6 cm`.
Magnification `= (-v)/(u)=(-6)/(-10)=0.6`
The image is located at a distance 6cm from the mirror on the other side of the mirror.
The positive sign and value less than 1 of the magnification indicates that the image formed virtual and erect and diminished.
