When the cilliary muscles are relaxed the eye lens becomes thin , the focal length increase , and the distance object are clearly visible to the eye . To see the near by object clearly. The ciliarly muscles contract making the eye lenns thicker.Thus the focal length of the eye lens decrease and the near by object becomes visible to the eyes . Hence the human eye lens is able to adjut its focal length to viwe both distnce is called the power of accommodation of the eye
