How is our atmosphere different from the atmosphere on venus and mars?

Earth.s atmosphere is a mixture of nitrogen (79%) oxygen (20%) and a small fraction of carbondioxide water vapour and other gases. This makes the existence of life possible on earth . However the atmosphere on venus and Mars mainly consist of carbondioxide. The amount of carbondioxide on these planets can rage from 95 % to 97 % .
