The fossil fuels like coal and petroleum/contain small amount of nitrogen and sulphur / when the fossil fuels are burnt / nitorgen and sulphur are burnt / and produces different oxides of nitrogen and sulphur when the oxides dissolve in rain it gives rise to acid rain.
