Will current flow more easily through a ...

Will current flow more easily through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material, when connected to the same source? Why?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The current will flow more easily through thick wire because the resistance of a conductor is inversely propotional to area of cross season.
If thickness of the wire less is resistances and hence more easily the currrent flows.
