What are the advantages of connecting electrical devices in parallel with the battery instead of connecting them in series?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The appliances connected in series need current of widely different values to operate properly.
In a series circuit, if one component fails, the circuit is broken and none of the components work.
But in a parallel circuit current divides through the electrical gadgets.
This is helful particularly when each gadget had diffrent resistance and requires different current to operate properly.
