(b) Nitrates and phosphate fertilizers. As a result of eutrophication, algal bloom occurs. When these algae die, aerobic decomposers become active and consume rapidly dissolved oxygen of water of decompose these dead algae. In the absence of dissolved oxygen, all aquatic life(including fishes) dies in the water body.
