(a) Three common gaseous pollutants are sulphur dioxide `(SO_(2))`, oxides of nitrogen `(NO_(X))` ans carbon monoxide (CO).
(b) When `SO_(2)" and "(NO_(X))` are inhaled, these may cause bronchitis, asthma and lung cancer. Carbon monoxide inhalation may result in carbon monoxide inhalation may result in carbon monoxide poisoning.
