(i) It is a dark fog formed by condensation of water vapour, dust and smoke particles, and various gaseous pollutants such as oxides oxides ofnitrogen, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulphide etc. in the troposhere , It is a secondary pollutant.
(ii) `*` Smog reduces visibility leading to accidents.
`*` It produces respiratory problems, particularly in youngones and old people.
