During summer, if you go near the lake, you feel relief from the heat why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

During the day, air over land gets heated and riese up, creating an area of low pressure. Water in the lake, on the other hand, is heated slowly and is cooled due evaporation. Therefore, air over water is cooler. It moves towards ragion of low pressure, i.e., towards land. Therefore, we feel relief when we go near the lake during summer.
