How is industrial nitrogen fixation different from biological nitrogen fixation ? Explain.

The process of combining atmospheric nitrogen with hydrogen to form ammonia under high pressure and temperature in the chemical fertilizer factories is called industrial nitrogen fixation.
When atmospheric nitrogen is fixed by the activities of microorganisms, it is termed as biological nitrogen fixation. For detils refer to article 5.6.3., Page 247.
