If `A=(a,b,c)` and B=(1,2,3) then find `A xx B`.

In order to find `A xxB` represetn the elements of A and B as shown in the diagram : 6.8, Now draw the arrows from each elemetn of A to each elements of B.
Now, represent all the elements related by arrows in ordered pairs in a set, which is the required `A xx B`.
That is, `A xx B=[(a,1),(a,2),(a,3),(b,1),(b,2),(b,3),(C,1),(C,2),(c,3)]`
