The correct Answer is:
b

The ratio of ages of Ram and Shyam = 7:6.
Let the ages of Ram and Shyam be 7x years and 6x years, respectively.
Sum of their eges = 78
`rArr 7x + 6x = 78 rArr 13x = 78`
`rArr x = 6`
`therefore " Age of Ram" = 7 xx 6 = 42 " years"`
`"Age of Shyam" = 6 xx 6 = 36" years"`
Hence, the correct option is (b).
