Ratio of marks allotted for each type of question `=(1)/(2)xx2:1xx2:2xx1=1:2:2`
Sum of the ters of the ratio is 1+2+2, i.e., 5
Given total marks in the paper=100
`implies` Marks allotted for `(1)/(2)` mark questions `=100xx(1)/(5)=20`
`implies`Marks allotted for 1 mark questions`=100xx(2)/(5)=40`
`implies`Marks allotted for 2 mark questions `=100xx(2)/(5)=40`
`therefore` Number of `(1)/(2)` mark questions `=(20)/(((1)/(2)))=2xx20=40`
Number of 1 mark questions `=(40)/(1)=40`
Number of 2 mark question`=(40)/(2)=20`
