Properties of salts
(i) Salts are solids at room temperature.
(ii) Salts have high melting points.
(iii( Most of the salts are soluble in water. The only exceptions are cargonates, sulphides and sulphates of some metals.
(iv) The aqueous solutions of salts are good conductors of electricity.
