A group of students accompanied by their science teacher went trekking. After reaching the top of the hill they felt hungry. With the increase in altitude the atmospheric pressure decreases. Boiling point of water is directly proportional to the atmosphere pressure. Hence boiling point of water decreases at the top of a hill and cooking takes a longer period of time.
