Copper in copper oxide does not liberate `SO_(2)` gas while copper in bronze cvolves `SO_(2)` gas with conc.`H_(2)SO_(4)`. However, for making statues, copper is used in the form of bronze but not metallic copper or copper oxide. Explain why the same copper has such varied properties.
