Initial velocity of the bullet, u = 0 m `s^(-1)`
Final velocity of the bullet, v = 100 m `s^(-1)`
Time, t = 0.1 s
Force exerted on the bullet,
`F = ma = m[(v-u)/(t)]`
`=50 xx 10^(-3) ((100-0)/(0.1)) = 50N`
This is the action on the bullet
Thus, reaction on the gun = 50 N
