Circuti in the figure (b) produces a strong electromagnet because the number of turns of wire wound around the magnetic material is more than that in the circuit of figure (a) and the strength of magnet depends directly on the number of turns. Therefore, the magnetic material in circuit 'b' will become a stronger magnet when compared with 'a'.
