You are provided with a mixture of salt, sand, oil and water. Write the steps involved for the separation of salt, sand and oil from the mixture.

Oil being immiscible and less dense than water will float on top, so it can be easily removed by scooping it out from water.
Sand will sink at the bottom, Salt will dissovle in water, so filter this solution thereby separating the sand particles then let the water evaporate to reclain the salt.
