Onion is a condensed plant bearing root, stem and leaves. Justify.

The outer layer is pink coloured and is made up of dry scaly leaves which protect the inner fleshy leaves. The disc-like hard base in onion is a stem which gives out fine thread-like structures on its lower side which are called roots. Hence, onion is a complete condensed plant.
