Intensity level , `L = 10 log ((I)/(I_(0))) dB` where `I_(0)` = threshold intensity = `10^(-12) W m^(-2)`
Here , `I = 10^(-8) W m^(-2)`
`therefore L = 10 log ((10^(-8))/(10^(-12)))dB`
= 10 log `(10^(4))` dB = 40 dB
