A biased dice was rolled 800 times. The frequencies of the various outcomes are given in the table below.

When the dice is rolled, the probability of getting a number which is a perfect square is ______ (approximately).

A

`(9)/(32)`

B

`(11)/(32)`

C

`(13)/(32)`

D

`(15)/(32)`

The correct Answer is:
A

The possible perfect squares which can be obtained are 1 and 4. Required probability =probability (obtaining 1 or 4) = Probability (obtaining 1) + probability (obtabninig 4)
`=(150)/(800)+(75)/(800)=(225)/(800)=(9)/(32)`.
