He requested the shopkeeper to give a discount such that he only needed to pay Rs. 6075 including sales tax. Find the discount Pavan must be given to fulfill his request. (in Rs.)

Let the discount be Rs.x.
Price after discount=Rs. (6075-x)
Sales tax (in Rs.) `(11(1)/(9))/(100)(6075-x)=(1)/(9)(6075-x)`
The price of the mobile including sales tax (in Rs.)
`=(6075-x)+(1)/(9)(6075-x) implies (10)/(9)(6075-x)`
`therefore (10)/(9)(6075-x)=6075`
6075=10x
x=607.50.
