Given ratio is ` 1/4 : 1/3 : 1/2`.
The LCM of the denominators is 12
` rArr 1/4 : 1/3:1/2 = 1/4 xx 12 : 1/3 xx 12 1/2 xx 12 = 3 : 4 : 6`
The sum of the terms of the ratio = (3+4+6) = 13.
P's share = Rs. ` (780 xx 3/13) = Rs. 180`
` :. " Q's share = Rs." (780 xx 4/13) = Rs. 240`
and, R's share = Rs. `(780 xx 6/13) = Rs. 360`.
