The simple interest on Rs. 3000 at R% in 2years equals to the simple interest on Rs. 2000 at 10% per annum in 3 years. Find the simple interest (in Rs.) on Rs. 5000 at R% per annum for 4 years.

Given that,
`((3000xxRxx2)/(100))=((200xx10xx3)/(100))`
Therefore by simplifying, we get, R=10.
Finding simple interest for P =5000, R=10 and T=4.
`S.I.=((5000xx10xx4)/(100))`
S.I. =2000
Hence, the simple interest is Rs. 2000.
