In the figuare above ( not to scale), `bar(AD)` is the angle bisector of `/_EAF, /_AFC = 110^(@)` and `/_ DCF =20^(@)`. If `/_ DAF =30^(@)` and `/_ EBD =10^(@)`, then `/_ AEB =`

A

`110^(@)`

B

`120^(@)`

C

`150^(@)`

D

`160^(@)`

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
d

(i) Sum of the angles in a quadrilateral is `360^(@)`.
(ii) Use Reflex `/_AFC =250^(@),ADCF` is a quadrilateral. Find `/_ ADC` then find `/_ ADC ` then find `/_ ADB. /_ DAE =30^(@)`
(iii) Now as ADBE is a quadrialateral, sum of the angles `=360^(@)`. Find `/_ AEB`.

A monochromatic light source S of wavelength 440 nm is placed slightly above a plane mirror M as shown . Image of S in M can be used as a virtual source to produce interference fringes on the screen. The distance of source S from O is 20.0 cm, and the distance of screen from O is 100.0 cm (figure is not to scale). If the angle theta = 0.50 xx10^(-3) radians, the width of the interference fringes observed on the screen is –
