How are paints and plastic emulsions prepared?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Paints are nothing but the coloring materials dissolved in the suspension of basic lead carbonate in linseed oil. Plastic emulsion is a kind of paint which is prepared by dissolving coloured plastics in amyl acetate. The durability of plastic emulsion is much more than that of basic lead carbonate paints.
