Explanation

Vermicompost is a kind of manure derived from organic wastes by the activity of earthworms which promote soil aeration, crush and mix soil particles and convert the nutrients into simpler forms. This manure is rich in organic matter and nutrients.
Green manure is a kind of manure which is prepared by the decomposition of green plants (e.g., sun hemp, sweet, clover, cow pea, barseem, cluster beam etc.) in the field itself. These green plants are mulched by ploughing and then allowed to decompose by the activity of bacteria and fungi of decay in the field.
Bio-fertilizer. Living organisms (e.g., blue green algae) which are used as fertilizers to supply nutrients to plants are termed biofertilizers.
