Differentiate between the molecular structures and behaviour of thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers. Give one example of each type

(i) Thermoplastic polymers : These are polymers which can be moulding on heating. These polymers posseers intermolecular forces of attraction intermediate between elastomers and fibres. e.g Polythene.
Thermosetting polymers : These are low molecular mass semifluid polymer,which on heating form infusible hard mass and cannot be remoulded. e.g. Bakelite.
