(i) Peptide bond : The carboxyl group of one amino acid and amino acid and amino group of another amino acid gets condensed with the elimination of water molecule. The resulting - CO -NH - Linkage is called a peptide bond.
(ii) Denaturation of proteins : A process that changes the physical and biological properties of proteins without affecting the chemical composition of a protein.
