(a) Ascaris, the round worm.
(b) Wuchereria, the filarial worm.
(ii) Ascaris is an intestinal parasite and causes ascariasis. Symptoms of ascariasis are interanal bleeding, muscular pain, fever, anaemia and blockage of intestinal passage.
