Adenosine (A) and guainine (G) are purines . Thymines (T) and cytosine (C ) pyrimidiness We have 520 adenine bases
A+T= 520 + 520 = 1040
Total Number of nucleotids G+C= 2,000 - 1040=960
Therefore , G= 960/2 = 480
Total Number of purine bases are A+G= 520 + 480 = 1000
