GM plants are useful in many ways. How would you convince farmers to grow GM plants on their field ? Explain giving three reasons.

For farmers in the developing world, agrochemicals are often too expensive and further increase in yield with existing varities are not possible, so genetically modified crops is a possble solution as
-they make crops more tolerant to abiotic stresses,
-enhanced nutritional value of food e.g. Vitamin 'A' enriched rice,
-reduce make reliance on chemical pesticides.
