(a) Structure of the intitiator tRNA adaptor molecule : see Q . 21 ., Delhi Board, Set-I, 2008.
(b) tRNA A has an anticodon loop that has bases complementary to the code, and it also has an amino acid accepter end to which if binds to amino acids. tRNA are specific for each amino acid . Since, the same t-RNA molecule reads the genetic code on one hand and binds to a specifc amino acid on the other, it is called on adaptor molecule.
