Use of (a), (b) and (c)-
(a) Aspergillus niger is used to produce citric acid and gluconic acid in industrial preparation.
(b) Trichoderma polysporum produce cyclosporin A, that is used as an immunosuppresive agents in organ-transplant patients.
(c) Mocascus purpureus statins produced by the yeast have been commercialised as blood cholesterol lowering agent. It acts by competitively inhibiting the enzymes respondible for synthesis of cholesterol.
